Attorneys Lisa M. Giese and Kiley M. Ms. Giese will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for the 2012-2013 term and Ms. Whitty was installed as the 3rd Vice President and will serve on the Executive Board for the 2012-2013 term. Dennise L. McCann was named as a nominee for the 2012 Inspirational Woman Award presented by the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. The nominating committee recognized Ms. McCann as a shining example of leadership and professionalism amongst her colleagues and peers, for her work as a mentor to young attorneys and for her dedication to being a zealous advocate for her clients. The nominating committee also noted that Ms. McCann is well respected by the Cook County and DuPage County Judiciary and is often appointed as a Guardian ad Litem in the most difficult, emotionally driven cases. Finally, Ms. McCann was recognized for her work in the area of bankruptcy for which she has achieved significant respect and accolades from peers and judges involved in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Kiley M. Whitty was recently appointed by Patrick Hurley, President Elect of the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA), to serve as the 2013-2014 Committee Chair for the DCBA Young Lawyers' Committee. During the 2012-2013 term, Ms. Whitty will serve as the Vice Chair of the committee which promotes the involvement of new lawyers in the DCBA by offering networking opportunities and continuing legal education (CLE) seminars related to substantive practice areas and professionalism. Kiley M. Whitty will be the second attorney from Anderson & Associates, P.C. to serve in this role, Lisa M. Giese having served as the Chair of the Young Lawyers' Committee for the 2011-2012 term under DCBA President Colleen McLauglin.

Robert J. Boszko was appointed by the President of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, Donald J. Cosley, to serve on the Nomination Committee. As a member of the Nomination Committee, Mr. Boszko will be responsible for conducting interviews and evaluating nominees for appointment to the Board of Governors. This is an integral role within the Northwest Suburban Bar Association as the Board of Governors, together with the Executive Committee, represent the future of the organization and are entrusted with the responsibility to organize networking opportunities, continuing legal education (CLE) seminars, and to further the mission of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. Kiley M. Whitty was nominated by the DuPage County Bar Association's President Elect, Sharon R. Knobbe, to serve a three year term on the Board of Directors for the DuPage County Bar Foundation. The DuPage County Bar Foundation is a charitable organization that provides scholarships to law school students and grants to local non-profit organizations. The DuPage County Bar Foundation also supports the Lawyers Lending a Hand Program, a public service project which encourages DuPage County lawyers to give back to their communities.

Lisa M. Giese was appointed by the President of the DuPage County Bar Association, Colleen McLaughlin, as the Chair of the DuPage County Bar Association Planning Committee. Ms. Giese was first appointed to the committee by the First Vice President, Sharon Knobbe, in 2010. As the Chair of the committee, Ms. Giese will be responsible for developing a three year strategic plan for the DuPage County Bar Association. Ms. Giese has been an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association since 2008 and was also recently named as the Chair of the young Lawyers' Committee.
In Addition, Lisa M. Giese was named as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of the DuPage County Bar Association. Lisa has been an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Committee of the Association since 2008. Her appointment to the Chair position followed a one year term as Vice Chair of the Committee.

Kiley M. Whitty recently completed her training and was approved as an Attorney for Children/Guardian Ad Litem/Child's Representative in domestic relations cases in DuPage County, Illinois. In her role as a Guardian Ad Litem, Ms. Whitty is eligible to be appointed by Judges in the domestic relations division to act on behalf of children in divorce (dissolution of marriage), post divorce decree, parentage (paternity) and other domestic relations cases. It is a tribute to the confidence that the DuPage Judiciary has in Ms. Whitty that she has already received an appointment to act as a Guardian ad Litem since her approval on May 23rd, 2011.

Rebecca (Becky) L. Zeilenga was recently appointed to serve a second term as the Co-chair for the Northwest Suburban Bar Association's Matrimonial Law Committee.
