Attorney Profiles

Viren Patel works on the firm's Schaumburg office, where he practices in a number of areas of law including family law, residential real estate, business law, and all areas of intellectual property.  Viren concentrates in patent prosecution as well as trademark registration and litigation.  Since joining the firm, Viren has expanded his practice into all aspects of family law including divorce proceedings, orders of protection and child custody/support matters.

Viren graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago where he earned a Bachelors of Science with honors in Biochemistry.  Upon graduating from the University of Illinois, Viren attended the John Marshall Law School and was a Dean's Academic Scholar.  He graduated from the John Marshall Law School in 2004 with a Juris Doctorate.  Viren also received a certificate of concentration in Intellectual Property.

Viren is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois.  Additionally, he is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
